Privacy policy

Mahjong Salon plays locally on your Mac. It does not require an account, show ads, or include third-party analytics SDKs.

This policy covers Mahjong Salon and mahjong.the-boys-lab.com. The app is published by Sergei Potenko under The Boys Lab name. Contact: sergei.potenko@gmail.com.

Game data on your Mac

Your game, recent undo history, elapsed time, preferences, statistics and daily completion marks are stored locally in the app's sandbox. The app does not send this game data to our servers. We do not operate a game account service or cloud sync for Mahjong Salon. Local data remains on your device until it is removed; use your usual Mac backup tools to preserve it.

Purchases

Apple processes Pro purchases and restores through StoreKit. The app checks verified purchase status to unlock Pro. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with sales and financial reports as part of App Store distribution. Apple's own privacy terms apply to its services.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer you and investigate the issue. Please send only what is needed. We retain support correspondence while it is needed for the request and associated recordkeeping; you can contact us to request deletion, subject to any applicable retention obligation.

Website visits

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and HTTP headers, to deliver and protect the site. We have not added analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies, or a contact form. Hosting security processing is separate from the app's local game data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Sharing and controls

We do not sell personal data. Apple, Cloudflare and the email service used for support process information for their respective services. To ask about data you have sent us, or to request access, correction or deletion, email the contact above. We may need enough information to verify the request.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. The App Store privacy disclosure is maintained separately.
