How do I match tiles?

Click two matching free tiles. A tile must have nothing above it and an open left or right side. Flowers can match any flower, and seasons any season. All other tiles must have the same face.

What if there are no moves?

Hint highlights a pair you can remove now; it does not promise that the pair will solve the whole board. Shuffle searches for a solvable arrangement of the tiles that remain. Some shapes cannot be solved without going back. If no arrangement is found, try Shuffle again, Undo a few moves, or Replay This Deal.

Where is my game saved?

Your current game, time, preferences and statistics stay on this Mac, in the app's local storage. Recent undo history is saved too. There is no account or cloud sync. Keep normal Mac backups if you want to preserve these records.

How do I get Pro?

Once the app is released, choose Mahjong Salon → Mahjong Salon Pro… in the Mac menu bar, or select a locked layout. The app shows the localized App Store price. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the Pro window and choose Restore Purchase. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. After Apple confirms it, open a Pro layout such as Fortress. An internet connection is needed for the purchase and restore process.

Why is my Pro game paused?

If the app cannot confirm Pro access, it keeps your saved Pro board and lets you restore your purchase. You can also choose a free layout. Starting a new game replaces the current saved board.

Daily Challenges

Pro includes a daily game for each layout. The date changes at midnight UTC. Select a layout, then choose Daily Challenge. Completing it records a local completion mark.
